The Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine
Do no harm
Naturopathic doctors (NDs) strive to utilize the least toxic therapeutic with the lowest risk for the patient.
The Healing Power of Nature
NDs recognize the healing potential in all beings and we use natural substances as much as possible. As the body has an inherent ability to restore balance, NDs are often agents of change to help in this process.
Doctor as Teacher
Naturopathic doctors educate their patients to understand how to prevent disease and maintain wellness.
Identify and Treat the Causes
As a main avenue to true healing and wellness, identification and treating the underlying causative factor(s) of disease is of paramount importance.
Treat the Whole Person
NDs acknowledge that for true recovery and wellness, one must support the unique nature of each individual as well as addressing the entire body and all its moving parts.
Prevention
Naturopathic medicine aims to reduce disease and suffering through proactive approaches to identify and remove obstacles to cure in an effort to keep you out of the doctor’s office to begin with.

Why I Became An ND

Serving and helping people is a theme that runs throughout my life experiences. I was introduced to alternative medicine modalities due to my personal health challenges. I was unaware how my personal decisions impacted my body. Through implementing a healthier lifestyle and diet, I began to experience real health. This is what lead me to the field of Naturopathic Medicine. I feel blessed to be able to help clients reach their health and wellness goals.
